Throughout January I was working on a collection of Illustrations for the Aparthotel Roomzzz, their new hotel in the historic Corn Exchange in Manchester opened today. I was commissioned to create bespoke illustrations inspired by Manchester’s rich history of music, industry and culture. A total of 100 pieces of my artwork decorate the walls of the hotel and I hope will inspire guests to explore this fantastic city.
I was delighted to be invited to the the opening and ribbon cutting, where I got to see how the gorgeous Grade II listed building had been beautifully restored, unveiling parts of the building that hadn’t been see for 20 years.

The beautifully restored hotel entrance.
Our very spacious room and kitchen.
This is the largest of the pieces incorporating so many amazing features of Manchester, its so colourful and vibrant I hope the guests love walking past it on the way to their room.
The individual elements were rearranged to create new illustrations to educate guests on the delights of Manchester…
These next illustrations will be seen in other locations and communicate features the Aparthotel has to offer.
